In northern Gaza, winter brings not only cold and rain, but also the suffering of displaced people who sleep on the ground under tattered tents, without heating or blankets to protect them from the harsh weather. Children in tents shiver not only from the cold, but also from insecurity, illness, and a merciless winter.
The blanket distribution project is an urgent response to pressing humanitarian needs. Its aim is to bring warmth and security to every displaced person who has lost their home and been deprived of even the most basic necessities of life.
Target regions and groups:
1. Displaced families living in tents without protection from the cold
2. Children and infants at risk of pneumonia and other cold-related illnesses
3. The elderly and sick who are less able to withstand the cold weather
4. Pregnant and breastfeeding women who need safe and healthy conditions during the winter
5. Beit Hanoun, Beit Lahia, and Jabalia in northern Gaza: among the areas most affected by displacement and war damage, where thousands of tents remain unheated

Share cost and ways to contribute:
Your $50 share = two blankets to protect an entire family from the deadly cold. $100 = warmth for two families and perhaps a new life for children who know nothing but the cold.
