Infant milk distribution program in Gaza: Food for life for the youngest souls
In Gaza, mothers weep not only from the bombing, but also from their inability to feed their infants. Children there rarely taste milk, and mothers are consumed by grief when they have nothing to satisfy the hunger of their little ones, shivering from hunger and cold.
The infant formula distribution program is an urgent, life-saving response for hundreds of babies who lack access to suitable formula for their growth, especially given the disruption of supply chains, soaring prices, and lack of income.
Target regions and groups:
1. Infants (0–24 months) who have been deprived of breast milk or formula
2. Breastfeeding mothers unable to breastfeed due to malnutrition or illness
3. Displaced or affected families who have lost the ability to provide food for their children
4. Children with special health conditions who require specific types of medical milk
5. Displacement camps in the northern and eastern Gaza Strip, where displaced families are concentrated
6. Shelters and schools that have become temporary shelters for families
Share cost and ways to contribute:
With a contribution of just $30, you can provide a can of infant formula that will last for days, protecting your baby from malnutrition and weakened immunity.
