As part of ongoing relief efforts to support residents in the Northern Gaza Strip and alleviate their suffering amidst dire humanitarian conditions, a project was implemented on December 1, 2025, to distribute 300 ready-to-eat Shawarma meals. The distribution covered several vital locations within the northern region, including hospitals and public areas, aiming to reach the largest possible number of affected families and individuals.
Project Implementation and Targeting This project was launched in response to the growing needs of a population suffering from acute food shortages and difficulty accessing prepared meals, especially given the persistent harsh living conditions. The field team focused on delivering meals to those in greatest need, including patients and their companions in hospitals, as well as families and individuals in public squares, streets, and overcrowded centers.
Quality and Coordination The organizers ensured that the meals were fresh and balanced, contributing to meeting a portion of the daily nutritional needs of people for whom securing food has become a complex and exhausting task. The distribution was carried out in coordination with field teams monitoring the most crowded and high-need areas.
A Message of Solidarity The executors emphasized that this project is part of a series of initiatives aimed at easing the people’s suffering by providing quick, ready meals to help them overcome some of the difficulties imposed by the current reality. The project reflects a message of solidarity and support for residents who continue to face extreme challenges across health, nutritional, and living levels.
Beneficiary Feedback and Future Outlook Numerous beneficiaries expressed their gratitude for this initiative, noting that it arrived at a time of critical need for any form of nutritional support, particularly in areas lacking resources and the capacity to prepare food. The project concluded with a commitment to continue working in the coming phase to expand the scope of support and implement further relief initiatives targeting the most affected areas in northern Gaza.
