Bringing Warmth to Families During the Coldest Days
As winter temperatures dropped across Gaza, thousands of displaced families faced another challenge alongside displacement and hardship: protecting their children and loved ones from the bitter cold.
In response, Laith Relief Office (LRO) implemented the Winter Blanket Distribution Project, providing heavy winter blankets to vulnerable families living in displacement camps and temporary shelters with limited protection from harsh weather conditions.
The project prioritized the most vulnerable households, particularly families with young children, elderly individuals, and those living in overcrowded shelters with limited winter essentials.
Following field assessments, winter blankets were distributed directly to beneficiary families, helping protect them from the cold while improving their comfort, health, and dignity during the winter season.
A Message of Warmth & Hope
Through the Winter Blanket Distribution Project, Laith Relief Office stands beside displaced families during one of the most difficult seasons of the year. Every blanket delivered represents warmth, protection, and a reminder that vulnerable families are not alone. By responding to urgent winter needs, the project helps preserve dignity, reduce suffering, and bring hope to those facing the daily realities of displacement in Gaza.
